Do It Yourself Pool Fence Pitfalls

Planning on buying a generic pool fence and installing it yourself?

Before you say "I can do that" please note these essential details:

• Measure the hole placement accurately to within 1/16".
• Check your measurements again! There are no second chances,
• Do not use a hammer drill,
• Do use a water cooled drill motor on a stand with a built in spirit level and precise angle adjustments,
• Do use a diamond coring bit exactly the size of the fence specifications,
• Unless the fence is a straight line, don't drill any holes vertically, but angle them precisely opposite to the pull of the fence,

And thats just to drill a hole. Don't do it yourself. We charge a lot more to fix errors than to install from scratch.
